There is so much freedom in truth. We as Americans particularly enjoy our freedoms. We are the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave for a reason.

There are some of us still passionate about America. Those of us, who consider ourselves patriots. Americans that bleed Red, White, and Blue. Those of us who have stood up and pledged our lives to every single American. Your creed, color, or sexual orientation connotation are of no concern. We would lay our lives down for you, American Citizen, if the freedoms of America are threatened.

They stay of you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. If your heart is beating, you know this to be true. When you have a passion, when you care, when you have hope, when you serve people: you make waves.

Those who know right from wrong. Those who know that every single life matters because they were made in the image of God. 

And there are those of us who this premise is terrifying. To be found out? Humiliated? Not I. Unfortunately, often times humility is only garnered through humiliation. If you are a breathing person, I am certain you have experienced this in one way or another. 

But it is in those moments that we have a choice. Do we let it break us? No. We still do the next right thing. To do it with joy and an air of service? All the better.

Could you imagine actually feeling hopeful about the future? That lump in your throat, squelching your voice for years, finally getting broken? Use your voice, Manley.

This is a call to arms Manleyians, Cass County Citizens, Nebraskans and Americans. We choose to live in this unique state for a reason. Our representatives listen to us by design. That is why we have our Unicameral Legislature. Senators and Congressmen want to hear from us. Our public servants are of the most service minded biblically literate. Nebraska is The Good Life.

We can make a difference. Register to vote this year. Send an email to a representative. (Find your Senator Here.) Read Manley News and learn, if only a little, but more about what is happening in our local governments. Especially this election year.
